So, what do you think?  I was just looking at my email and I got another request from an organization  to renew my membership and pay yearly dues again.  I find it really annoying that these organization ( that I believe are groups that do good and important work) can’t figure out a way to stop sending out repeated request.  I don’t always keep good track of which memberships I’ve already renewed and just a few months ago I renewed one that I had already paid.  I wonder if this happens to anyone else?  Also, it seems to get harder to keep track of as I get older.  I know they can probably use the extra funds but since I’m retired I’m not sure I can afford to pay twice and this makes me feel like I’m being tricked.  Anyway, this is annoying!

The short trip to Tulsa was for a memorial service for my cousin, sad reason for a trip!  But, it was so nice to see family that I haven’t visited with for years.  It was also super nice that Jordana drove to Tulsa with me.  Every summer of my childhood we would travel to Oklahoma to visit family and they would come to Chicago to visit us so from 0 to about 17, every year we got together but then during adulthood everyone moved to different parts of the world.  Maybe we should have a family reunion!?

So glad that one of those pairs of mittens are too small for you, now I have a beautiful new pair of mittens.
